I am surviving!

Well, I made it through the first week of teaching. Today I had the most behavior problems thus far...but it could be because they are getting more comfortable? I need to have a better behavior plan in place, because we definitely need something. Aside from that, I'm having a blast, the kids are adorable, and everything is going great!
Nothing new is going on by our house...we've been getting plans in place and our ideas on paper to finish the upstairs. Once we get that tax money back, we'll be starting on that! :)

Teaching!

I went in for an "interview" today for an early childhood special education subbing job until the end of the school year. It's mornings only, and i only have students Monday thur Thursday. Friday is a planning day. It will be at Lakeview Early Childhood Center within Holland Public Schools. I'm feeling a bit overwhelemd right now, because this class is a brand new class of 3 year olds. The kids that will be coming into my classroom are brand new to the school system. This weekend will be full of planning, planning, and more planning. Wish me luck... :)

Happy Birthday To ME!

Last night we went out for dinner with my family for my birthday.
Kylee got me a shirt...i don't know why everyone thought it was so funny ;)

And with some of my birthday money i went and bought an ipod nono.

I also got the gift of a life time and found out
i'm going to be an AUNT! :)
Brad and Jill are pregnant and due at the end of September. I am so excited to meet this little baby- what a perfect addition to our family, and an even more special birthday gift for me!

Where to Start?

After seeing all the people who are now blogging, I decided to be a follower and start this blog. :) After reading other people's blogs, i thought, what the heck...i'll start one for our family. I might be the only one who reads it, but that's ok! I figured that this is a good way for family and friends to see what is happening in our lives and it gives me something to do! haha.
